Kay Beauty – Matteinee Lip Crayon

After Katrina Kaif’s brilliant and marketing featuring some of the most prominent superstars of all fields, she finally released her most anticipated beauty line “Kay Beauty” with a wide variety of products and colours, or as I like to call it, “Makeup for everyone”.

Today I decided to review her Matteinee Lip Crayon in the shades “Rumour” and “Entourage”, my personal favourites. These two shades have been my recent go-to colours and go with every outfit.

Starting with the review, these lip crayons are unlike any other matte lip crayon I’ve tried. The pigmentation, consistency and staying power is just incredible. I am guessing it has argan oil elements as it somehow also acts as a lip balm and moisturizes my lips while simultaneously providing a glam look. I don’t feel my lips are dry and chapped after wearing this crayon for a whole day unlike most matte lipsticks and lip crayons. They spread out evenly on the lips and make your lips look shapely even without lip-liner.

These lipsticks are slightly overpriced (starting at 799/-) but they are completely worth it in terms of usage, quantity and quality. However if you are looking for something at a more cost-effective price I would suggest Nykaa’s matte lipstick collection.

Overall, I think Katrina has once again outdone herself but this time in a different stream with her amazing campaigning and products. Would 10/10 buy again, will be reviewing more products soon.
